PTO, Fire Safety, and Second Grade...

Tonight, we had a PTO meeting at school. Paige's second grade class sang two songs from their spring musical. The meeting was about fire safety. Two years ago we lost a kindergartner to a house fire. Now our school host a fire safety event each year. The small child hid from the fire in his closet. It was very sad, and the school has taken many measures to make sure the students know what to do if their house catches on fire. I pray that all families teach their small children what to do in case of a house fire. It is so important!!!
