My dad retired a few weeks ago. (JULY) He retired from teaching after 25+ years and then went to work at a steel factory. He has worked there for 14 years. He kept saying it was time, but he kept putting it off. Finally my mother told him he was done. I think it was hard for him at first, but I think he is getting use to being home with my mom. They both have part-time jobs at their church to keep them busy. We had him a little party at our house to celebrate his retirement.
