Today Paden's teacher told me he made it to the 1,000 word plate. This is a BIG deal in first grade. They have 1,000 sight words to learn before second grade, and Friday he made it. I am so proud of him, because at first I thought we would NEVER get there. Then all of a sudden he wanted to say them. Well, he did it!!!
